We are dedicated to enhancing the emotional and mental well-being of widows in our region of Ellis County. Led by Darlene Hardy, our founding President and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), our passion lies in the holistic well-being of these widows. Our multifaceted approach includes three core objectives:
1. Emotional and Mental Well-being: Our primary mission is to address the emotional and mental health of widows through a range of referral services, and support groups. We offer a safe space for widows to heal from their loss and build emotional resilience.
2. Financial Empowerment: We are committed to equipping widows with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their finances effectively. Through financial literacy programs, budgeting workshops, and financial planning assistance, we empower widows to achieve financial independence and security.
3. Benevolence Support: In times of need, we extend benevolence support to widows who require immediate assistance. This includes financial aid to cover essential expenses like housing, healthcare, and education, ensuring that no widow in our region is left without a safety net.
Our ultimate goal is to provide protection, safety, healing, and empowerment for these resilient women.
